In the immediate vicinity is the market town of Cazeres with its thriving Saturday market. Nearby is the town of Aurignac with its ancient castle ruins, and Samatan, renowned Monday market, is just a half an hour’s drive away. Other sites close by include the stunning 16th century renaissance chateau de Saint-Elix and the potteries of Martes-Tolosane, originally founded by the Romans, and still producing pottery in the local style. There are also the remains of France's largest Roman villa nearby at Montmaurin.
The 13th century walled town of Montesquieu-Volvestre with its many listed buildings and covered market is close by. Neighbouring this town is Rieux-Volvestre with its wonderful Bishop’s Palace and other interesting buildings. There are many picturesque villages and ancient churches to visit in close proximity
